Child Safety Standards
Unite-ED is committed to protecting children and maintaining a platform that is safe for families, educators, and learning communities. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, and trafficking. This page describes the standards we apply, how we respond to violations, and how to report concerns.
1. Zero Tolerance Policy
Unite-ED strictly prohibits any content, communication, or conduct on our Platform that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits minors. This includes, without limitation: sharing, requesting, or soliciting CSAM; grooming or attempting to groom a minor; sextortion; child trafficking; and any other behavior that endangers the safety or well-being of a child. Any account found to be in violation of this policy will be permanently removed from the Platform.
2. Prevention Measures
We design and operate the Platform with child safety in mind, including:
- Identity and role verification for educators, tutors, and learning centers, including background-check requirements for applicable users;
- Moderation of profiles, listings, messages, and community content for violations of these standards;
- Account suspension and permanent bans for users who violate this policy, with no opportunity for reinstatement;
- Ongoing review and improvement of our safety tools, policies, and staff training.
3. In-App Reporting
Unite-ED allows users to report child safety concerns directly within the app. Any user can flag a profile, listing, message, or other content that they believe violates this policy. Reports are reviewed promptly by our trust and safety team, and appropriate action is taken, which may include content removal, account suspension, or a permanent ban.
4. Reporting to Authorities
Unite-ED complies with all relevant child safety laws. Where we identify apparent CSAM or other CSAE on the Platform, we report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to relevant regional and national law enforcement authorities, as required by applicable law. We cooperate with law enforcement investigations into CSAE consistent with our legal obligations and our Privacy Policy.
5. Reporting a Concern to Unite-ED
If you encounter content or behavior on the Platform that you believe endangers a child, please report it immediately using the in-app reporting tools, or contact our designated child safety point of contact directly:

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in violation of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Parents and guardians remain responsible for supervising their children's activities related to the Platform. For more information, see our Privacy Policy.
